Before beginning your service, we must first determine if you are a good candidate for Permanent Makeup. Your health is our top priority, and there are a number of different medical conditions, medications, and/or skin conditions that we look out for. These variants can influence color depositing and retention.
We ask that you review the conditions and medications listed below, and let us know if any of them apply to you. But don’t worry - most of the time these conditions do not disqualify you from receiving Permanent Makeup, they just help us plan accordingly.
Actively taking blood thinners
Allergies to topical anesthetics
Autoimmune diseases
Blood disorders (such as Hemophilia)
Chemotherapy or Radiation
Chronic acne on the brows
Cold sore outbreaks (applies only when tattooing lips)
Eczema on the brows
Glaucoma or other eye conditions (applies only when tattooing eyeliner)
Hepatitis
History of excessive scarring (such as hypertrophic or keloid)
HIV
Keratosis Pilaris
Pregnant or nursing
Prior permanent makeup
Rosacea (in the treatment area)
Under Doctor’s treatment for chronic condition
Accutane/Roaccutane (1 year prior)
Antibiotics (10 days prior)
Aspirin or Ibuprofen (24 hours prior)
Botox (2 weeks prior)
Brow growth serums (6 weeks prior to brows)
Fish Oil (1 week prior)
Lash extensions (6 weeks prior to eyeliner)
Latisse, or other eyelash growth serums (6 weeks prior to eyeliner)
Lip fillers (6 weeks prior to lip blush)
Retin-A (1 month prior)
Retinol (1 month prior)
Vitamin A (1 week prior)
Vitamin E (1 week prior)

Don't pick, tweeze, wax, or perform electrolysis within 1 week of service
Do not tan within 2 weeks of service
Avoid facials within 2 weeks of service
Don't work out the day of service
Avoid alcohol for 24-48 hours prior to service
Avoid coffee, tea, energy drinks, and other caffeinated beverages the day of service
